On my first day in Nepal, I was well received from the airport and transferred to hostel, though van was quite small and we were group with our bags. I am very satisfied with first day orientation about my project, schedule, host family, situation of Nepal and other issues. I would like to rate over all performance of my language teacher in terms of language course was very good. I am satisfied with overall availability and helpfulness of your staff. The room and food arrangement of the first week program was very good and travel activities of the first weed program were very good and organized.
My comments and suggestion in order to improve language program are more conversation and introduce more daily life, customs, and songs. My recommend for the upcoming volunteers may be you need to get used to life style at first week but after, will feel much better, just open your mind and enjoy it.
Now I can’t think any problem, but at that time I feel hard and suffer. But the word and phrases which I have learnt there has became very useful while traveling around and shopping even more use full to communicate with Nepalese who don’t speak English. About Chitwan tour on the way white rafting was very good, It’s wonderful to get to river to see sunset, we got warm sunshine there which was far better than Katmandu. And I love the food in the resort a lot. My one suggestion for you if any possible please arrange one night to overnight in Pokhara. Its very wonderful because Pokhara everyone says it deserts to everyone there.
About my experience in teaching, I enjoy it and am surprise actually students English is so good but I think it’s nice for both students and I too have chance to share culture difference. It is a good start for students in their future. The people are friendly and nice. And also I think god blesses Nepal because visitors come here because of trekking, it’s very nice for people here. People still keep their lifestyle and culture here. I also enjoy conversations with local people. I am happy to make a set of traditional Nepali clothing. It will remind me I have been for one month. And finally I would like to say thanks to every one. You guys help volunteers to come to your country. But also help some organizations here? Take care everyone!!! And welcome to Taiwan one day too...
