Nepal Volunteers and Cultural Youth Exchange (NCYE-Nepal)

nvcye_nepal NCYE Nepal was established as a non-profit cultural youth exchange in 2004 with His Majesty Government of Nepal/Social Welfare Council of Nepal. Before starting international youth and cultural exchange program as a NCYE-Nepal, International Cultural and Youth Exchange (ICYE) international program in Nepal was coordinated through Rural Community Development Program (RCDP-Nepal).

To run an effective youth exchange program solely for the ICYE international members’ countries, NCYE-Nepal was established as a separate organization in 2004. Presently, NCYE-Nepal collaborates with more than 12 ICYE members’ countries to support the mission and philosophy of ICYE, which aims to promote the challenging intercultural learning experiences, social and personal development via international volunteer program, friendship, peace, and intercultural understanding.

As a part of promoting the mission of ICYE, NCYE-Nepal presently runs exchange program with many ICYE members countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America allowing Nepali youth to join one year exchange program abroad. Similarly, NCYE-Nepal offers long term exchange program and short term volunteer to international participants in Nepal
